Flaggers / Parking Attendant Needed!

 

Pay Rate: $18 per hour 

Job Type: Seasonal - Part Time

Location: Ora Seaport Apartments in Boston, MA

Shift & Schedule: Shifts will vary; 4 hours per shift

Pilgrim Parking is currently hiring Flaggers for seasonal opportunities to start immediately. 

 

What we're looking for:*

  • Direct patrons where to park.
  • Complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly cashier booth at all times, free of debris and trash with clean windows void of unapproved company posters or decorative hangings.
  • Provide the company’s standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit.

Must haves:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.

Good to haves:

  • Customer service: 1 year+

The physical demands of this position and the work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position. Physical Demands: the employee will be required to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools
or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects

Work Environment: the employee may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The
employee is regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles. The noise level in this work environment
can range from minimal to moderate.
